Thanks for visiting my webpage. I'm a web enthusiast with a real passion for programming. I got my start in the 9th grade when a good friend introduced me to a program called Macromedia Flash. A short time later I had an ugly (but functional) game featuring a helicopter in space shooting asteriods. Nobody but me was impressed, but I was hooked. I've been programming ever since and loving it!
Currently I work as a Front-End developer for Lucid Software on the Lucidchart team. I graduated from Brigham Young University in April 2013 with a BS in CS. While there I spent 5 semesters working in the Data Mining lab with Dr. Christophe Giraud-Carrier. I had such a great time working in his lab that I decided to apply to graduate school. I was accepted into Stanford's PhD program and will start Aug 2014.
When I'm not at work, I enjoy hanging out with my beautiful wife and family members, working on my myriad projects and just enjoying the goodness of life. I'm currently accepting freelance requests if you have an iOS or web project. Contact me at keslert [AT] gmail
